How much does Skool cost a community owner?
Skool currently lists Hobby at $9 per month and Pro at $99 per month. Payment fees are separate.
What percentage does Skool take?
Hobby uses 10% plus 30 cents. Pro uses 2.9% plus 30 cents up to $899, while Skool's current FAQ says 3.9% plus 30 cents above $900. The exact $900 boundary is not resolved in that wording.
When is Pro cheaper than Hobby?
Under monthly billing, the low-band percentage comparison breaks even at about $1,267.61 in monthly payments when the same transactions are compared. High-ticket charges and annual billing change the result.
How much do Skool communities charge members?
In the 7 September 2026 Discovery snapshot, the median published monthly price was $39 across 768 monthly-priced rooms.
Does Growth Boost add another fee?
Yes, when Skool attributes a customer through Growth Boost, its current documentation describes a separate 30% recurring commission. It is not the ordinary payment-processing fee.
