Skool Categories: The Discovery List, November 2026

Skool Discovery now has 31 categories, up from about nine, according to Skool News #81 on 3 November 2026, and on 6 November we read 30 of them, from AI Automation to Travel, with a final one cut off in our reading, so this page lists those 30 and each category's top earner.

We are not naming a 31st category because neither our reading nor the episode gives it. The revenue column comes from Skool's leaderboard top 100 as displayed on 6 November 2026. These figures move.

What are the Skool categories?

The Skool categories we read on Discovery on 6 November 2026 are the 30 below, listed in Discovery's order, and the table shows each one's top earner in Skool's leaderboard top 100, the monthly figure displayed, that group's overall rank and how many top 100 groups share the category.

"None in the top 100" does not mean a category has no earners. It means no group in it cleared the $52,600 a month needed for the top 100 that day.

Which Skool categories have no group in the top 100?

Eight of the 30 categories we read had no group in the 6 November top 100: Sports, Faith, Relationships, Languages, Music, Gaming, Pets & Animals and Travel, which tells you the very top of the board is not spread evenly, though it says nothing about how those categories do below $52,600 a month.

Our 1 September MRR leaderboard listed Relationships as a category with a leader at $61,671 a month, for example. So do not read an empty row as a dead market. For what the older leaders looked like, see the highest-earning Skool community in every category.

How did Skool decide on 31 categories?

The Skool News hosts say they looked for real market segments with both demand, meaning Discovery searches and people buying from ads, and supply, meaning groups already there, because some of the old nine, such as money and hobbies, had become enormous catch-alls.

In the hosts' telling, money broke out into AI automation, AI video, side hustles, ads and marketing, e-com and others, and trading, real estate, credit and sales now have their own places. We have no list mapping every old category to the new ones, and the episode does not give one.

Which Skool category earns the most?

AI Automation has the largest share of the top 100 by both count and total, with 18 groups displaying a combined $2,219,147 a month, while Business holds the single largest group and only three places on the list.

Ecom is second by total at $1,657,743 from eight groups, and Business third at $1,512,958 from three. Note the labels are Skool's and can surprise you: Blue-Collar Biz Accelerator, for trades business owners, sits in Business, not Home Service & Trades. What should a community owner do with the new categories?

Look up where your group now sits and who leads that category, because a smaller pool changes who you are compared with on Discovery and on leaderboards, and neither the episode nor our reading tells you how a group gets assigned or how to move one.
