Which Skool communities for beauty professionals have the most members?

This page is narrower than Skool's own Fashion & Beauty category, and that is deliberate. We dropped 14 of the 30 rooms. Eleven are looksmaxxing or self-appearance rooms, aimed at changing your own face and body, and some descriptions mention procedures, peptides or extreme methods, none of which we want to rank. Two are consumer makeup and skin rooms, and one is a cooking group. What remains is for people who do this work for clients.

What did the rest of the category show?

Looksmaxxing is the surprise of this category. More than a third of Skool's Fashion & Beauty first page is about improving your own looks, and those 11 rooms together hold 2,991 members, about the same as the eight barber rooms here. We have left them out because this page is for professionals, and because cosmetic and health decisions belong with a doctor. Ratings would not help you sort them anyway: among those with reviews, all but one show 4.9 or 5.0.

Why do barbers have the most rooms?

Barbers fill 8 of the 16 rows, and client counts are how they sell. ESSENTIALS COMMUNITY says 25 new clients in 90 days or your money back, School of Barbering says 20 in 60 days, and Clipperhands Academy 30+ in 90. Rascals Education Academy is the one barber room to reach the Skool leaderboard's top 100, displaying $68,104 a month from 608 members, about $112 each, with no price on Discovery.

Stylists get more specialised and more expensive offers. Time Slicing School sells a time-saving technique and claims 7,000+ stylists trained. brunette academy teaches a single colour family at $59/mo, and BLEACH EDU charges $197/mo for branding and systems. Only PRINCIPLES shows a higher price, at $199/mo, and it speaks to barbers becoming educators.

Others leave the chair altogether. The Online Esthetician teaches estheticians to earn online through content and consults, and Beauty Brand Blueprint teaches professionals to launch a product brand. For those two, your clients change into customers, so the business you are buying is very different.

What should you check before paying for a beauty education room?

Start with your licence, because an online room cannot give you one.

  1. Does it count toward a licence or CE? Barbering, cosmetology and esthetics are licensed in many places, with rules that differ by state and country. Ask your board if a room's training counts, and never assume it does. A question people search is "can you become a barber online", and that answer comes from your board.
  2. Are virtual consults allowed where you work? Ask your board whether The Online Esthetician's model of online consults sits inside your scope of practice.
  3. Is tattoo training legal for you to practise? Fundamentals of Tattooing teaches from the ground up. Practising on skin usually involves local health rules, so check them before buying a machine.
  4. Selling products? Beauty Brand Blueprint covers formulation and suppliers. Ask how it handles cosmetic labelling and safety rules for your market.
  5. What do client guarantees require? Ask ESSENTIALS COMMUNITY and similar rooms how a "new client" is counted, and what you must do to claim the refund.

How this list was built

This list is the first page of Skool Discovery for the Fashion & Beauty category, read on 6 November 2026 and sorted by Skool's trending order. It is not a census, so rooms further down the category are missing, and the figures move. "Ranked" means ordered by member count, not our endorsement, and we have not joined these rooms. Rating and member counts are what Skool displayed. "No price shown" can mean free, or simply that Discovery displayed no price. No community pays to rank here. The wider data sits in the Skool Community Index for November 2026 and the Skool Discovery categories list. Outside this first page, see the Tonya Stylist Club breakdown, and for tattoo rooms in another category, the best Skool communities for artists.
