Someone Analyzed the Top 100 Skool About Pages. Here's the Formula.

A Skoolers member pulled the data on all 100 top Skool communities' about pages. The findings on guarantees, images, price, and structure reveal one repeatable formula.

Instead of guessing what makes a Skool about page convert, a member named Nathan did the work: he pulled the data on all 100 communities from the Skool Games leaderboard, price, members, video, images, and copy, then looked at what the best ones had in common. His findings, shared in the Skoolers community and retold here with full credit, point to one repeatable formula.

What the data showed

  • 30 / 100 used a guarantee (most skip it)
  • 63 / 100 maxed out all 6 image slots
  • ~$77/mo median price
  • 1 repeatable structure across every niche

Finding 1: barely anyone uses a guarantee

Only 30 of the top 100 had a guarantee on their about page. Nathan found that the most surprising, because it is such an easy way to build trust and two-thirds of the best communities skip it. The ones that use it keep it to a single line: "[result] in [time] or your money back." Maker School is the clearest example, and its money-back guarantee is a big part of why it converts. If you can deliver a result, a one-line guarantee is low-hanging fruit almost nobody picks.

Finding 2: the winners max out their images

63 of the 100 used all six image slots, and only one left them empty. It was the single most common trait among top communities. The images are not decoration, they are proof: screenshots of results, member wins, real faces, and shots of what is actually inside the community. If your about page has empty image slots, you are leaving the easiest trust-builder on the table.

Finding 3: the price is lower than you would think

The median price across the top 100 was about $77 a month, and most of the paid groups clustered near or below that. The takeaway is reassuring: you do not need to charge $1,000 a month to reach the top of the leaderboard. A fair price for a clear outcome, kept, beats a premium price that churns.

The formula they all follow

When Nathan put the best pages side by side, they were doing the same thing in the same order, no matter the niche:

1
Promise the specific outcome up front.
2
Proof, screenshots, wins, real faces, and images of what is inside.
3
Value stack, everything you get, often with dollar values attached.
4
Price reframe, show the price against the value so it feels small.
5
Guarantee (if they use one), one line.
6
Honest scarcity, then the ask: "click the yellow JOIN button," and "cancel anytime."

Same order, over and over, no matter the niche. That is the whole thing. Promise, proof, value stack, price reframe, guarantee, honest scarcity, ask, reassure. If your about page follows that sequence and maxes its images, you are already doing what the top 100 do.

What you can do with this

Steal the structure and fill in the two gaps most people miss: add a one-line guarantee if you can deliver, and use all six image slots for proof. To turn this into your own page, follow how to write a Skool about page that converts, and see the pattern live in the highest-earning communities.

Frequently asked questions

What do the best Skool about pages have in common?

They max out all six image slots with proof, and they follow the same structure: promise, proof, value stack with dollar values, price reframe, optional one-line guarantee, honest scarcity, and a clear "click JOIN" call to action.

Do top Skool communities use guarantees?

Only about 30 of the top 100 do, which makes it an underused trust-builder. The ones that use it keep it to a single line: a result in a set time, or your money back.

How much do the top Skool communities charge?

The median across the top 100 is around $77 a month, with most paid groups near or below that. A fair price for a clear outcome beats a premium price with high churn.
