Skool Invite Link: 4 Ways to Invite Members (2026 Guide)

Your Skool invite link is your group's About page URL, found under SETTINGS in the Invite tab, where you click COPY. That link is what you share for a paid community, because it sends people to the page where they buy or request membership. Free invites work differently: email, bulk CSV and Zapier invites all grant access with no payment and no membership request, as soon as the invitee clicks JOIN NOW in the invitation email. Where do I find my Skool invite link?

Click the SETTINGS button inside your community, open the Invite tab, and click COPY. That copies your group's About page URL, which is the link to share publicly. For a paid community this is the only sharing method you should use, because anyone arriving through it lands on the About page and goes through the normal purchase or membership request flow.

How do I invite members for free?

Skool documents three ways to grant free access, and all three bypass both payment and the membership request queue. Skool describes each as granting instant access, though in every case the invitee still has to click JOIN NOW in the email before they are actually in.

A) Email invites. In the Invite tab, type an email address in the Email address field and click SEND. You can also choose to invite with custom course access, so the person lands with only certain classroom content unlocked.

B) Bulk CSV invites. Click IMPORT, then UPLOAD FILE. Skool positions this as the method for importing old customers or existing members in batches. For genuinely large lists, Skool recommends inviting via CRM instead.

C) Zapier invites. Click INTEGRATE to automate invitations off the back of an action somewhere else, for example a purchase in another checkout. This is a Pro plan plugin. The instant-access behaviour is the whole point and the whole risk. If you paste a paying customer's email into the email invite box, they are in for free, permanently, with no subscription attached.

Which invite method should you use?

Match the method to what the person is: a stranger, a customer you already have, or an automated event.

The migration row is where most owners are heading. If you are moving people off a Facebook group, a Kajabi course or a Circle space, bulk CSV is the tool, because those people already paid you somewhere else and must not be asked to pay again. The step everyone forgets

Invited members must click the JOIN NOW button in the invitation email to be pre-approved. Skool states this explicitly, and it applies to email invites, bulk invites and Zap invites alike. Sending the invite is not the same as adding the member.

This is the number one reason a bulk import converts at a fraction of the list size. The invite is an email, and email gets filtered, ignored and buried like any other. Plan for it: warn the list somewhere they already read you before you press import, tell them exactly which subject line to look for, and expect to send a reminder. A CSV import is a campaign, not a database operation.

Do invited members skip membership questions?

Yes. Email, bulk and Zapier invites all grant instant access without purchasing or requesting membership, which means the person never sees your Membership Questions and never appears in your approval queue.

That is convenient for customers you already know and a real hole for anyone else. Membership Questions are one of Skool's main spam filters, so an invite link forwarded to a stranger walks that stranger straight past your screening.
