HRC Credit Mentorship: Hoodrich Credit's $129 Skool Room
HRC Credit Mentorship is Hoodrich Credit's $129/month Skool room mixing done-for-you credit repair and training. What the FTC says to check before paying.

HRC Credit Mentorship sells two things at once, with a team that says it handles your credit disputes while you learn how credit works, for $129 a month on Skool, and the leaderboard's $90,300 a month across 1,251 members equals exactly 700 people at that price, leaving 551 members the displayed figure doesn't account for.
Those promises are its own. Credit repair is also a field where a federal regulator publishes clear guidance for consumers, so this breakdown reads the offer alongside it.

What does HRC Credit Mentorship offer?
The page offers done-for-you dispute work plus education, describing a team that reviews credit reports, identifies questionable items and "handles the appropriate dispute process for you." That hybrid is the whole pitch, summed up in its line "Get the work done for you while learning how credit works".
The list of extras is long for a $129 room: credit-building education, funding and application preparation, auto-financing preparation, credit repair business training, personal branding and content training, plus a private community.
The wording is careful, and worth noticing. Items are described as those "that may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unverifiable", which promises a process rather than a score or a deletion.
Does $129 times 1,251 members match the leaderboard?
No, since 1,251 members at $129 would be $161,379 a month and the leaderboard displayed $90,300, about $72 a member or 56% of the sticker. The neat part is that $90,300 divided by $129 is exactly 700.
That could be a coincidence. It may also mean about 700 members pay full price and the others sit on something else, such as a trial, a cancelled plan still in the room or a different rate. The page doesn't say, and neither do we. Compare this with neighbouring rooms in our credit repair guide, where The Credit Framework shows the opposite pattern, displaying far more per member than its listed price.
What does the FTC say about credit repair?
The FTC says you can dispute errors yourself at no charge, in its words "Disputing mistakes or outdated things on your credit report is free." Its Fixing Your Credit FAQs also says that anything a credit repair company can do legally, you can do yourself for little or no cost.
The same page sets out what to look for from a company doing the work, and that makes a practical checklist here:
| FTC page says | Question for this room |
|---|---|
| Companies "can't remove negative information that's accurate and current" | Which items are in scope, and what happens if everything is accurate? |
| It is illegal for them to "charge you before they help you" | How is the done-for-you part billed against a monthly membership? |
| They must explain your rights in a written contract | Is there a written contract for dispute work? |
| That contract must include a three-day right to cancel | Where is the cancellation form? |
We have not seen this room's contract or billing terms, and we are not saying it breaks any rule. The point is that a buyer can ask these questions, and the answers will tell them a lot. Rules beyond the FTC guidance vary, so check your own state as well.
Who is this room really for?
It suits someone who wants their credit handled and wants to understand it, rather than a person who only needs one error fixed. If you have a single clear mistake on a report, the FTC route is free. The membership case rests on the bundle: someone doing the paperwork, weekly mentorship and a community.
There is also a second audience hiding in the list. The "credit repair business training" and personal branding modules serve people who may want to enter the trade themselves. That is a different purchase with different questions, including the legal duties of running such a business.
What can a community builder learn from the offer?
The strongest idea is the sentence that dismisses courses: "This is not another course where you're left to figure everything out alone." Service plus education is easier to justify at a higher monthly price than videos alone, because the member can see work being done.
The builder lesson: adding a service to a community raises the price it can carry, but it also adds obligations. In regulated areas such as credit, check the rules before you promise done-for-you work, and write your page around process. See our about page guide for structure.
For the wider market, the November leaderboard lists the top rooms in this category.
