Eduardo's Music Academy: When Copy Outlives the Price
Eduardo Serrano's Spanish singing community on Skool charges $1,000 a year while its about page still says to click a $77 a month button. A live lesson.

Eduardo's Music Academy is Eduardo Serrano's Spanish-language Skool community for singers, with 182 members and a join button reading $1,000 a year, ranked 24 in the Skool Games Music top 50. Its about page, meanwhile, instructs the reader to click a button marked $77 a month, and offers $37 a month and $280 a year beneath a countdown. Those prices are not on the page you can actually buy.
We are writing about this room because that gap is the most useful thing on it. It is a live, checkable example of the most common self-inflicted wound on Skool about pages, made by a community successful enough to sit in the Music top 25, and every owner reading this has the same failure waiting in their own copy.

Who is Eduardo Serrano?
Eduardo Serrano runs the community as @eduardo-serrano-3921 with one other admin. The group's short description claims more than 5 million followers and more than 40,000 students, and positions the room as the number one Hispanic club for learning to sing and earn money from your music.
Those are the page's claims and we have not verified them. What we can verify is the shape of the offer, and it is the classic creator-audience structure: a very large free following converted at a low rate into a small, expensive room. One hundred and eighty-two members is among the smallest rosters we have measured in the Music top 25, second only to Pocket Singers Elite at 153, and the annual price is what carries it onto the board.

The price mismatch, exactly as we found it
On 29 August 2026 the live join button on the about page read JOIN $1,000/year. The last line of the about copy reads, in Spanish, click on "JOIN $77/month". Above it, the copy names a launch price of $37 a month and an annual price of $280, both described as heavily discounted, under a banner announcing a 74 percent offer valid until Wednesday 30 August.
None of that has to be dishonest to be damaging. The most likely explanation is the ordinary one: the price was changed and the copy was not. Skool's about page is a single free-text field, so any price written into the prose becomes a second, unmanaged source of truth that drifts the moment the real price moves.
| What the buyer sees | Where it appears |
|---|---|
| $1,000/year | The live join button, generated by Skool |
| $77/month | Named in the copy as the button text to click |
| $37/month | Named in the copy as the launch price |
| $280/year, described as $20/month | Named in the copy as the best offer |
| "Precio fijo para siempre" | Stated in the copy as a fixed-forever price |
The rule this produces: never type a price into your about copy. Skool already renders the price on the button and updates it automatically. Anything you write by hand becomes wrong the first time you change anything, and a reader who spots the gap does not conclude that your copy is stale, they conclude that the higher number is a trick.
This is the second time our corpus has caught the same class of error. Supple Athlete printed "(Currently 279)" beside a member-count trigger while Skool's own live counter read 250. The lesson generalises: never type a number the platform already displays for you.
How Eduardo's Music Academy sells
Through value stacking, which is unusual in our Music set and completely conventional in Spanish-language direct response. Ten deliverables are listed, each with a dollar value beside it, totalling more than $2,900, and the price is then presented against that total.
The stack itself is well built. It moves from the core programme to technique, then to a guitar bonus, then to a seven-day habit challenge, then to WhatsApp practice audios, then to a gear kit, then to a genre-specific quick win, and finally to two monthly live sessions. Each item answers a different objection: the challenge answers "I will not stick to it", the WhatsApp audios answer "I have no time", the gear kit answers "I do not sound professional", and the ranchera lesson answers "will this work for my music".
The WhatsApp element is the piece worth stealing. Practice audios delivered to the app the audience already lives in removes the single biggest failure point in any singing course, which is that practice happens somewhere other than where the course lives. It costs almost nothing to produce and it puts the product inside a daily habit.
What the about page actually says
The complete about page follows in its original Spanish, lightly normalised for rendering, with the edits listed below it. Markers sit on the five lines that carry the offer, including the one that is now wrong.

Rank 24 on 182 members
One hundred and eighty-two members is a very small room to find in the Music top 25, and the annual price explains it. The Skool Games board orders rooms by monthly recurring revenue, and an annual subscription contributes to that figure at roughly a twelfth of its face value per month, which is still a large number when the face value is four figures.
| Music room | Members | Price | Music rank |
|---|---|---|---|
| Eduardo's Music Academy | 182 | $1,000/yr | 24 |
| Worship Guitar Mastery | 946 | $6/mo | 30 |
| No Theory Club | 8,824 | $9/mo | 31 |
| Piano with Rebecca B | 365 | $12/mo | 38 |
Set the first row against the third. A room with one fiftieth of the membership sits seven places higher, because price beats population on this board every time. It is the cleanest annual-versus-monthly comparison our Music set has produced.
One caution before anyone reads that as an endorsement of high annual pricing. An annual room collects once and then has twelve months to earn the renewal, with no monthly signal of whether it is working. A $9 room learns every thirty days whether members still want it. The revenue looks better on the board and the feedback loop is far worse, which matters most for a community only six months old.
What a Spanish-language room tells us about Skool
Skool shipped Spanish across its interface in 2026 and the Music board now carries several Spanish-language rooms in its top 25, including this one, El Camino del DJ at rank 2 and Ingenieria Musical at rank 10. Two of the top ten are Spanish-language rooms, which is not a niche presence on a board this size.
For an English-speaking owner the implication is uncomfortable and useful: the Spanish-language market on Skool is less crowded per unit of demand than the English one, and the platform has removed the interface friction that used to block it. For a Spanish-speaking owner it says the audience is already here and already paying. Our recap of Skool News #70 covers the language rollout in full.
The funnel, step by step
A large Spanish-language social following meets a value-stacked about page with a dated discount, and a very small fraction converts into a four-figure annual membership.
The formula you can copy, and the one to avoid
Copy the stack, and copy where the delivery happens. Ten items each answering a separate objection is a solid structure, and putting the practice material into WhatsApp is the sort of distribution decision that costs nothing and changes completion rates. The wider version is in how to write a Skool about page.
Do not copy the prices in the prose. Write no number in your about copy that Skool already renders for you: not the price, not the member count, not the seat total. Skool's button is generated from your actual settings and cannot drift. Anything you type by hand is a promise you will have to remember to maintain, and the day you forget, the page tells a buyer that the number on the button is not the real one. Our pricing guide covers how to signal a discount without hard-coding it, and Skool membership tiers covers the annual-versus-monthly decision this room has made.
And be careful with permanent promises. "Precio fijo para siempre" is a commitment to every member who ever joins, and it is the hardest sentence on any about page to walk back. If you mean it, mean it. If you might not, do not write it.
Frequently asked questions
What is Eduardo's Music Academy?
Eduardo's Music Academy, or EM Academy, is Eduardo Serrano's Spanish-language Skool community for singers. It has 182 members, 18 courses and 440 posts since February 2026, runs with two admins and holds a 5.0 rating from 6 Skool reviews. It ranks 24 in the Skool Games Music top 50. The offer covers step-by-step vocal training, vocal projection technique, a guitar bonus, a seven-day habit challenge, WhatsApp practice audios, a gear kit and two live sessions a month.
How much does Eduardo's Music Academy cost?
The live join button read $1,000 a year on 29 August 2026. The about copy separately names $77 a month, a launch price of $37 a month and an annual price of $280, and none of those matched the button on that date. Because the copy and the button disagree, the only reliable figure is the one on the button at the moment you look, so check the community's own about page before assuming any price quoted anywhere, including here.
Why does a Skool about page show a different price from the join button?
Because they come from different places. The join button is generated by Skool from the community's actual price settings and updates automatically. The about page is a free-text field the owner writes by hand, so any price typed into it stays exactly as written when the real price changes. A mismatch almost always means the copy was not updated after a price change rather than anything deliberate.
Can you learn to sing online?
Vocal technique is learnable online up to a point, and the parts that transfer best are the ones that are conceptual or habit-based: breath support, warm-up routines, ear training and repertoire. What online delivery loses is real-time correction, because a teacher hearing you in the moment can catch a habit before it sets. Communities that include live sessions and let members submit recordings exist to recover some of that, and they sit between a video course and one-to-one lessons in both price and effect.
Are Spanish-language Skool communities successful?
Several rank highly. In the Skool Games Music top 25 alone, El Camino del DJ sits at rank 2, Ingenieria Musical at rank 10 and Eduardo's Music Academy at rank 24, all Spanish-language rooms. Skool rolled out a Spanish interface across the platform in 2026, which removed a real friction for non-English audiences, and the Music board suggests the demand was already there waiting.
Should I put my price in my Skool about page copy?
No. Skool renders the current price on the join button automatically, so writing it into the prose creates a second version that will eventually disagree with the first. The same applies to member counts, seat numbers and any other figure the platform already displays. If you want to communicate a discount, describe the saving in relative terms or attach it to a condition Skool itself displays, such as a member-count threshold, so the page cannot quietly become wrong.
