Mentorat Transformation: A Free Skool Room at $8,530 MRR
Eliane Jean-Claude runs a French Skool community whose join button says Free, with 118 members and $8,530 MRR. The only price is in the copy.

Mentorat Transformation is a French-language Christian mentoring community on Skool run by Eliane Jean-Claude, and on 5 September 2026 its join button read Free while the community earned $8,530.00 a month across 118 members, ranking 27th in Spirituality. The price the copy names, 79 euro billed as 89 US dollars, is not on the button at all.
That combination is the reason we picked it. A room whose front door is free and whose revenue works out at $72.29 per listed member is a clear freemium reading, and one we can only partly verify from outside.

What does the about page say?
It opens by naming a twelve month term, then says what it is not, lists five aims and six developments, states a four part operating rhythm, then explains its price in two currencies. The French is reproduced verbatim below with emoji replaced by plain markers, the platform's list markup set as bullets and curly quotes straightened, which is how we set foreign-language copy here. The French copy above is reproduced verbatim from the community's own about page as published, with emoji, the platform's list markup and accents normalised for consistency with our URLs. The twelve month structure, the outcomes described and the two prices are the community's own statements and are not verified by this site. Nothing here is religious, financial or business advice. The join button state, the prices and the terms are as displayed on 5 September 2026; confirm the current ones on the community's own page before joining or paying.
Why does the join button say Free when the room earns $8,530?
Because joining costs nothing and the only price anywhere on the page sits in the copy. On 5 September 2026 the group header read 118 members and Free, the join control read JOIN GROUP with no price attached, the group's own metadata carried no price field at all, and the copy named 79 euro a month, billed as 89 US dollars. Where that paid product is actually billed, whether as a Skool tier inside the room or somewhere off the platform, is not visible to a logged out reader, so we do not assert it.
Skool does support one version of this arrangement directly. A group can run one free plan and one paid plan side by side, so a member walks in at no cost and upgrades from the inside, and the public leaderboard reports the revenue either way. That is why a room with a free front door can appear at 27th in a category on $8,530.00 a month. Whether this specific room uses that structure or bills its 89 USD elsewhere, we cannot tell. We set out how the structure works, and where it goes wrong, in the Skool freemium model explained.
The arithmetic is worth stating plainly. $8,530.00 across 118 listed members is $72.29 each. If every payer is on the $89 monthly plan, that implies roughly 96 paying accounts inside a roster of 118, which would be a very high conversion for a free door. It is more likely that the 118 count and the payer count are measuring different things, or that some members are on other terms. The page does not tell us, so we give the ratio and stop there.

A free join button is a traffic decision, and it costs you the price anchor: anyone can walk in, and nobody arrives already told what the product costs. This page compensates by putting the number in the copy where a serious reader will find it. If you run freemium, decide deliberately where the price is allowed to appear. The conversion side is in converting free Skool members to paid.
What does a 12 month term change?
It changes the unit the buyer is deciding on. Almost every Skool room sells an open ended month; this one names a twelve month parcours on its first line, before any benefit, and returns to the frame twice more in the copy.
The trade is visible in the delivery. One deep teaching a month is a light cadence measured against $89, and it is only defensible if the buyer has accepted that the product is a year of formation rather than a month of content. Six courses across 34 modules is a small classroom next to the 171 and 1,032 module rooms we read in the same batch, and 207 posts across 118 members, at 1.75 each on a 268 day old room, is a quiet feed. None of that reads as thin once the unit is a year.
The risk is on the other side of the same trade. A room selling a year has to survive the months where the monthly deliverable feels small, and the thirty day change here is minus $830.00, or -8.9%, the only fall among the three rooms we read in this batch. One month is not a trend, and a single admin serving 118 members through a twelve month programme has less slack than a staffed room when it becomes one.
The formula you can copy
Open by refusing the category's own promise. Three sentences saying this is not motivation and not inspiration do more positioning work than any benefit list that follows, because every competing page in the niche is selling exactly those two things.
Name the term before the benefit. Twelve months on line one filters the buyer before the copy has to persuade anyone. It costs impulse purchases and buys people who were going to stay anyway.
Explain the currency where the buyer meets it. A French reader who is quoted 79 euro and charged 89 dollars without warning files a dispute; the same reader who is told why does not. This is one of several sellers in our corpus to handle currency or tax in the copy, and the ones we have recorded doing it have all been outside the United States. Skool's side of that is in VAT and invoices on Skool.
If you open the door for free, decide what the free door is for. A free join with a paid tier inside buys reach and gives up the price anchor. Make sure something inside the room does the qualifying that the join button is no longer doing, and watch the paid conversion rather than the member count, which is exactly the failure mode we cover in how to price a Skool community.
Frequently asked questions
What is Mentorat Transformation on Skool?
It is a private French-language Christian mentoring community founded by Eliane Jean-Claude on 11 December 2025, structured as a twelve month parcours toward knowing God in depth, discernment, spiritual discipline and mature leadership. On 5 September 2026 it listed 118 members, 1 admin, 207 posts and 6 courses across 34 modules.
Is Mentorat Transformation free?
The join button read Free on 5 September 2026, so joining the group cost nothing. The about page separately names a price of 79 euro a month, which it says bills as 89 US dollars because the platform's currency is dollars. That is the shape of a freemium community, a free plan to enter and a paid plan reached from inside, though the page does not show where the paid plan is billed. Confirm current terms on the community's own page.
Who is Eliane Jean-Claude?
She is the founder and only admin of the community, listed on Skool under the handle eliane-jean-claude-3231. Her Skool profile describes her as a coach, speaker, consultant and international trainer in spirituality, personal development and leadership, and as the founder of the Institut Ideal. Those are her own published credentials.
How much does Mentorat Transformation earn?
$8,530.00 in monthly recurring revenue according to Skool's public leaderboard on 5 September 2026, ranked 27th in Spirituality and 840th globally, with a thirty day change of minus $830.00, or -8.9%. Across 118 listed accounts that is $72.29 each.
Why is the price quoted in euros but charged in dollars?
Because Skool bills in US dollars, and this seller prices in euros. The about page states the amount as 79 euro a month and explains that the charge appears as 89 USD for that reason. A euro price converted to a fixed dollar amount moves with the exchange rate, so what a European buyer pays in euros will not stay at exactly 79 over time. Check the amount your card is actually charged.
Can a free Skool community still make money?
Yes. Skool lets a group run a free plan and a paid plan together, so members can join at no cost and upgrade from inside, and the public leaderboard reports the resulting revenue the same way it reports a paid-entry room's. This community is a working example: a free join button and $8,530.00 a month. Whether it is the right structure for you depends on whether you can qualify buyers after they are already in the room.
