LE DOJO by Staiv Gentis: A $27 French Meditation Skool
Staiv Gentis runs LE DOJO for 485 members at $27 a month and $10,258.50 in revenue. A rare about page that explains USD pricing and VAT to European buyers.
LE DOJO is the first community we have written up whose about page does the currency conversion for the reader. Staiv Gentis sells a French language meditation and breathwork practice at $27 a month, and the last line of his sales copy tells a European reader why the price is in dollars, that tax is added, and roughly what the total comes to in euros. He earns $10,258.50 a month doing it, the highest figure in the five rooms we measured this week.
The numbers
- Spirituality niche (meditation and breathwork, in French)
- 485 members, 4 admins
- $27/mo, single product, private
- 718 posts published inside
- 7 courses across 128 modules
- 5.0 average rating from 9 reviews
- Opened August 2024
Who runs LE DOJO?
Staiv Gentis is the founder and the teacher. His Skool bio is three words long: "Méditation et Respiration".

The currency paragraph nobody else writes
Skool bills in US dollars. Every non-American founder inherits that problem, and almost none of them address it on the page where it costs them signups.
The closing line of LE DOJO's about page does three things in one sentence. It states the subscription has no lock-in. It explains that Skool is a US platform, which is why the price is shown in USD. And it converts the number for the reader, giving roughly 30 euros including VAT, with the caveat that the exact figure depends on the buyer's country.
For a French buyer looking at a $27 button, the unanswered questions are always the same: what will actually leave my account, is tax added, and am I signing up for a year. All three are answered before she has to go and find out. Any European founder on Skool can copy this paragraph today, and the mechanics behind it are covered in our guide to Skool VAT and invoices.

Eight bullets, one of which is a calendar
Seven of the eight things listed are assets or atmosphere. The one that holds the subscription together is the Saturday live at 10.30.
A meditation practice is exactly the kind of product that people intend to use and then do not. Replays sit unwatched, courses stay unopened, and a member cancels three months later having consumed nothing. A fixed weekly appointment fixes that, because it converts a good intention into a diary entry. Listing the day and the time on the sales page, rather than promising "regular live sessions", is what makes it credible before purchase.
The staffing gives it room to work. Four admins for 485 members is one per 121, the second heaviest cover in this week's batch behind Vicki Planet Mystery School's one per 50, and the page promises members can put questions directly to the founder. At 718 posts against 485 members, or 1.48 posts each, the volume of questions arriving is not the kind that buries a founder.
What $27 buys, against its neighbours
Five Spirituality communities measured on the same date, spanning a $1 door to a $55 door.
| Community | Members | Door price | MRR | Per member | Share of sticker |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tongue of Fire Ministry | 5,430 | $1/mo | $7,999.50 | $1.47 | 147% |
| God Supplied | 1,606 | $5/mo | $7,555.00 | $4.70 | 94% |
| Soul Discipleship | 1,141 | $10/mo | $9,190.00 | $8.05 | 81% |
| LE DOJO | 485 | $27/mo | $10,258.50 | $21.15 | 78% |
| Vicki Planet Mystery School | 200 | $55/mo | $9,369.75 | $46.85 | 85% |
The last column shows revenue per member as a proportion of the advertised join price. LE DOJO's 78 per cent is the lowest of the five, and it sits on the second oldest room in the table. LE DOJO earns the most on the second smallest roster, and it publishes the fewest courses of the five. It is also the flattest: the last movement was minus $17.00 on $10,258.50, which is under two tenths of one per cent, on a room that has been open for more than two years.
That stillness is the interesting part. Three of the five rooms in this table opened within the last year and are moving by several per cent a reading. LE DOJO has been running since August 2024 and barely moved at all, which is what a mature subscription looks like when churn and joins are roughly in balance.
The funnel, step by step
LE DOJO recruits from French language meditation content, converts on a weekly appointment, and removes the currency objection at the last step.
The share of sticker at 78 per cent is the lowest in the batch, which on a single product room usually reflects a mix of part month joins, failed payments and any promotional pricing in the period rather than a hidden tier. There is only one product listed here, so the $27 button is the real price.
Answer the currency question on the page: if you sell from outside the United States, your buyer is doing mental arithmetic instead of reading your offer. Tell her the platform is American, that tax is added, and roughly what she will pay in her own currency. It costs you two lines and removes the last silent objection before checkout.
The formula you can copy
Put the appointment in the offer. "A live every Saturday at 10.30" is worth more than any number of replays, because a specific recurring slot is what turns a subscription into a habit.
Refuse to pick a level, deliberately. The opening sentence welcomes the person seeking calm and the person already deep in practice with equal warmth. In a small room that is a growth decision: segmenting too early leaves a 485 member community with two half empty halves.
Promise direct access only while your staffing can absorb it. Four admins per 485 members leaves room for "ask me anything directly" to be answerable. The same line on a five thousand member room would be a liability. How founders scale or drop that promise as they grow is one of the recurring patterns in our directory of Skool communities.
Say the subscription is cancellable. "Abonnement sans engagement" costs nothing and defuses the fear that a monthly charge is really an annual commitment in disguise. The same reassurance logic sits behind the Skool free trial.
Frequently asked questions
What is LE DOJO?
LE DOJO is a private French language Skool community founded by Staiv Gentis, teaching meditation and breathwork. It runs a live session every Saturday at 10.30, holds 7 courses across 128 modules, and had 485 members, 4 admins and 718 posts when we read the page on 4 September 2026, with a 5.0 average rating from 9 reviews.
How much does LE DOJO cost?
The join button displayed $27 per month on 4 September 2026. The about page states the subscription has no commitment period, that Skool is a US platform so prices are shown in dollars, and that with VAT added the total comes to roughly 30 euros depending on the buyer's country.
Who is Staiv Gentis?
Staiv Gentis is the founder of LE DOJO. His Skool bio reads "Méditation et Respiration". He leads the weekly live meditation and breathing session, and the about page offers members the ability to put questions to him directly.
How much does LE DOJO earn?
Skool's public leaderboard recorded $10,258.50 in monthly recurring revenue on 4 September 2026, down $17.00 on the previous reading, a movement of under 0.2 per cent. It ranked 20th in the Spirituality category and 665th globally, on 1,528 listed monthly visitors.
Why does a French community charge in dollars?
Because Skool is a United States platform and processes payments in USD, so every founder outside the US displays a dollar price regardless of where their members live. LE DOJO's about page explains this directly and gives a euro estimate including VAT rather than leaving the buyer to work it out. Our guide to Skool VAT and invoices covers how tax appears on a European member's receipt.
What can other founders take from LE DOJO?
Sell a fixed weekly appointment rather than a library, keep the entry wide enough for both beginners and experienced practitioners, only promise direct access while your admin ratio can support it, and answer the price, tax and cancellation questions on the about page instead of leaving them for checkout.
