Claude Code Club Skool: $38,073 a Month at $9
Claude Code Club Skool has 8,515 members at $9 a month and $38,073 MRR. Inside Duncan Rogoff's offer, price ladder and revenue per member.

Claude Code Club Skool is Duncan Rogoff's community teaching Anthropic's Claude Code to non-developers, and on 7 September 2026 it held 8,515 members at a listed $9 a month while earning $38,073 in monthly recurring revenue, the 142nd highest figure on Skool and 36th in the Tech category. Its most interesting number is not the revenue. It is that revenue per member comes to $4.47 against a $9 button.

Who runs Claude Code Club?
Duncan Rogoff runs it, a Bay Area operator whose Skool bio reads "Ex - Apple, PlayStation, Nissan" and who carries Skool's crown MRR badge on the platform's own leaderboard. He is the searchable half of this business: Google autocomplete returns ten suggestions for his name, including "duncan rogoff skool" and "duncan rogoff learn claude code".

The about page adds a second operator without naming him, referring to "two top 5% Skool owners" with a combined 200,000-plus audience built in twelve months, and to Charles Schwab alongside Apple and PlayStation in the team's background. Those credentials are the community's own claims and we have not independently verified them.
What does Claude Code Club sell?
It sells a beginner path into Claude Code for $9 a month, with 37 courses, a setup walkthrough, ready-made prompts and skills, and an active room of builders answering questions. The promise is stated as a competence, not a job title: if you can type, you can build. Below is the about page word for word, with the key parts numbered. Read as a builder, the notable move is the ordering. Four lines of borrowed credibility come before a single word about what is inside, and the credibility is deliberately not topical: an award, an accelerator and three consumer brands, none of which imply expertise in Claude Code specifically. The page is answering "why you" before it answers "what is it", because the buyer at $9 is not evaluating a curriculum.
Why is revenue only half of price times members?
Because $38,073 across 8,515 members is $4.47 per member, which is 49.7% of the $9 sticker price. A gap between those two figures is normal, since free members, lapsed cards, legacy rates and discounts all sit inside a Skool room's headline count. We cannot tell from the outside which of those explains this one, only that the gap here is wide.

For contrast, we measured Volpro at 95.2% of sticker on 7 September 2026, on a $99 price and 718 members. Two data points are not a pattern, but they are a hypothesis worth testing: a $9 room collects a much larger and much looser roster than a $99 room, and the headline count therefore overstates the paying list by more. On that reading the $9 price is buying reach and social proof as much as revenue, and the 8,600-member trigger converts that reach into a $69 price the crowd itself justifies.
Is the $9 to $69 ladder the actual product?
It is the mechanism, and it is the part other builders can copy. The scarcity here is not a countdown to a date, it is a countdown to a number printed on the same page as the counter, which means the reader can check it, watch it move, and feel the deadline without being told one.
That design has a cost. On the day we looked, the page said 14 spots remained while its own member counter read 8,515 against the 8,600 trigger, which is 85 spots. We are not in a position to explain the discrepancy, and it may simply be a line that was written at one count and not updated. But a scarcity claim tied to a number the reader can see is only stronger than a date if the two agree.
If your urgency is checkable, keep it checked: a member-count trigger beats a countdown clock because the buyer can verify it, and that is exactly why a mismatch costs more here than a stale date would. Whatever number gates your price, make the page that displays it and the page that claims it the same page.
The funnel, step by step
The room converts on a low price and a stated ceiling, and it retains on 37 courses plus a room active enough to answer beginners the same day.
The retention driver is the room rather than the library. Claude Code changes on Anthropic's schedule, not the community's, which means a static curriculum ages in weeks and a room full of people who used it yesterday does not.
The formula you can copy
Attach to a product name people already type. "Claude code course" returns fifteen autocomplete suggestions and "claude code vs" returns fifteen more naming Cursor, Codex, Copilot and Antigravity, which is a market actively comparing tools. The room's own name returns seven, including "claude code club skool" and "claude code club review", so the brand inherits a slice of the product's demand for free. Rogoff did not have to create any of it, only stand in front of it. That is the same logic behind picking a niche the market already searches.
Price for the roster you want, not the revenue you want. A $9 price that half-pays is a deliberate trade: it buys 8,515 members, 27,835 listed visits and the social proof that makes the next price believable. Compare that against what comparable rooms charge in Skool community cost, where we measured a $39 median across 768 priced communities.
Make the objection the headline. "Zero coding experience needed" is the load-bearing line on that page, and everything above it exists to make that line credible. Frequently asked questions
What is Claude Code Club?
Claude Code Club is a paid Skool community founded by Duncan Rogoff on 20 August 2025 that teaches Anthropic's Claude Code to people with no coding background. On 7 September 2026 it held 8,515 members, listed 37 courses, and carried a $9 a month join price with a stated increase to $69 once membership reaches 8,600.
Is Claude Code Club worth it?
That depends on whether you want a room or a course. At $9 a month it is priced below the $39 median we measured across 768 priced Skool communities, and it earns $38,073 a month, which places it 142nd on Skool overall. What it sells is a beginner path plus same-day answers from other builders. We have not taken the course and do not review the teaching quality.
Who is Duncan Rogoff?
Duncan Rogoff is the founder of Claude Code Club, based in the Bay Area. His Skool bio lists Apple, PlayStation and Nissan as former employers, and his about page additionally claims Forbes 30 Under 30 and Y Combinator alumni status for the teaching team. He also runs claudecodeclub.ai and publishes on YouTube under his own name.
How much does Claude Code Club cost?
The join button read $9 a month on 7 September 2026, with the about page stating that the price is locked for life at joining and that new members pay $69 a month once the community reaches 8,600 members. Members can cancel at any time. That is a separate cost from any Anthropic subscription Claude Code itself requires.
Do you need to know how to code to use Claude Code?
The community's own answer is no, and "zero coding experience needed" is one of the eight benefit lines on its about page. That is a marketing claim rather than a measured outcome, and it is the claim the entire page is constructed to support. Anthropic's own documentation is the primary source on what Claude Code requires.
What is the lesson for other community builders?
Attach your room to a product name people already search, price the entry low enough to build a roster that makes your next price believable, and lead with the objection rather than the curriculum. If you gate a price rise on a number, make sure the number you claim matches the one on the page.
