Amanaturis Academy Review: Clara Martin's $49 Skool
Amanaturis Academy fell from about $9,187 to $6,118 a month in thirty days, a 33.4% drop, on 280 members paying $49 after seven free days.

Amanaturis Academy is a Spanish-language animal-communication school on Skool, run by Clara Martin, charging $49 a month after seven free days. On 4 September 2026 it held 280 members and was listed at $6,118.42 in monthly recurring revenue, down $3,068.83 across the previous thirty days. That is a 33.4% fall from roughly $9,187. Recomputing the thirty-day change on all fifty rows of the Spirituality leaderboard the same day puts this at the bottom of the board: no other room in the category fell as far in percentage terms, and the next steepest managed -26.5%.
A drop that size on a room that is only 196 days old is worth sitting with, because the about page is one of the better-argued ones in this category. Falling revenue and good copy are not a contradiction, and this room shows why.

Who is Clara Martin?
Clara Martin owns and teaches the community, under the Skool handle clara-martin-2931. Her Skool bio, in Spanish, states her whole position in one sentence: that animal communication is not a gift, it is trainable, and she teaches how.
The about page adds three claims about her track record. It says she is the author of a book on animal communication published with Penguin Random House, that she has taught for fifteen years, and that she has carried out 17,000 readings with animals and trained more than 8,000 people worldwide.

What does the about page argue?
That the thing being sold is a method, not an ability. The page opens by denying the premise most of its competitors sell on, then spends the rest of its length backing that denial with credentials, a named system and a verification step. Here is the copy as published, in Spanish, with emoji replaced by plain markers and the unicode-styled heading rendered as plain text.

The Spanish copy above is reproduced as published because it is the object of this analysis. The publishing, teaching, reading and student figures inside it are the community's own claims. Animal communication as described here is not veterinary care, and nothing on this page should be read as veterinary or medical advice.
What causes a 33.4% drop in one month?
The leaderboard does not say, and neither does the about page, so the honest answer is that we can narrow it rather than settle it. Skool reports monthly recurring revenue and its thirty-day change. Losing $3,068.83 at a $49 price is the equivalent of roughly 63 monthly subscriptions ending inside one billing cycle.
Three explanations fit those numbers and we cannot separate them from outside. A cohort could have finished: a room 196 days old that launched with an intake would see the first big renewal decision land right about now. A promotional or founding-member price could have expired, moving people off a cheaper rate or off the list. Or annual subscriptions taken at launch could have come out of the monthly recurring calculation. What the figure is not is a member count collapse: 280 members remain, and revenue per member is now $21.85 against a $49 price, or 44.6% of sticker, the lowest ratio in the five rooms we read.
| Room | Members | Price | Revenue per member | Share of sticker |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Equipped Christian | 126 | $50 | $47.22 | 94.4% |
| Ancient Knowledge Academy | 171 | $55 | $37.27 | 67.8% |
| Taymiyyah Institute | 340 | $29 | $19.50 | 67.2% |
| Issa Assaf's healing community | 247 | $49 | $31.53 | 64.3% |
| Amanaturis Academy | 280 | $49 | $21.85 | 44.6% |
Share of sticker is monthly revenue divided by members, read against the published price. It answers the one thing no about page will tell you, which is how many of the people in a room are paying customers. At 44.6%, fewer than half of this roster is contributing a full $49, and free trial members, lapsed members who keep access to the feed and anyone on a legacy rate all sit inside that gap. The five figures below come from the five about pages we opened and measured in full. We explain what the counter does and does not include in the Skool freemium model.
Read decline against age, not against zero: a 196-day-old room falling 33.4% is a very different event from a five-year-old room doing the same thing. Young communities have not yet met a full renewal cycle, so their first large negative month is often the first time anyone chooses whether to stay, rather than evidence that something broke. The number that settles it is the next one, and we have no recovery-rate data that would let anyone guess it in advance. We track those movements in the [Skool Games leaderboard](/blog/skool-games-leaderboard-top-earners).
Why does "not a gift" work as positioning?
Because it addresses the people the category normally turns away. Animal communication is sold almost everywhere as an innate sensitivity that some people have. Anyone who suspects they do not have it is, under that framing, not a customer.
This page opens by removing the requirement. Method, certainty and practice, in capitals, on line one. It then supports the claim with a named four-stage system, live practice twice a month, and a verification step that answers the doubt the page itself raised. That sequence, deny the premise, name the system, prove it can be checked, is a template that transfers to any niche where the incumbent story is that you either have it or you do not. It is also a textbook case of narrowing an audience by definition rather than by demographics, which we cover in how to niche down a Skool community.
The builder's takeaway
Deny the gift. If your category tells buyers they need an innate quality, the largest untapped audience is the people who believe they lack it. One sentence in capitals reverses that.
Name the system and make it an acronym in your own language. Método ALMA has four stages and also reads as soul in Spanish. A named method is what turns an ongoing practice into something a buyer can picture finishing.
Sell verification, not sensation. The strongest line here is that you will learn to check what you receive. In any field where results are subjective, the ability to test your own output is the deliverable competitors cannot copy without building it.
Watch the second reading, not the first. This room's revenue is down a third and its copy is among the better arguments we have read this month. Those two facts sit together comfortably, and anyone using leaderboard numbers to judge a business should hold both. The pricing decisions that produce these swings are laid out in how to price a Skool community.

Why did Amanaturis Academy's revenue fall by a third?
Skool does not publish a reason and the about page does not explain it. A drop of $3,068.83 at $49 is equivalent to about 63 monthly subscriptions ending in one cycle, which fits a launch cohort reaching its renewal decision, a promotional rate expiring, or annual plans leaving the monthly calculation. The member count did not collapse: 280 people remain in the room.
