THE LB LIBRARY Skool Review: Jon Svec's Linebacker Coaching

THE LB LIBRARY lists 300-plus drills, clinics and teaching clips for linebacker coaches at $99/year. A source-checked look at its scope and limits.

THE LB LIBRARY Skool Review: Jon Svec's Linebacker Coaching

THE LB LIBRARY is an annual Skool membership for American football linebacker coaches. At a displayed $99/year, it promises a structured foundation, a problem-solving section called THE LB FIX and more than 300 drill videos, clinics and pieces of teaching tape. That is a narrower proposition than a general football community: it organizes one position into teaching resources and peer discussion. We did not audit the private video count or test the coaching.

We found it on page 12 of English Sports Discovery, then checked the rendered community About page on 15 October 2026. It displayed 153 members, one admin, one review averaging 5.0 and Jon Svec as creator. These are current public snapshots, not evidence of player development or coaching certification.

What the public page lists

  • Audience: linebacker coaches seeking position-specific teaching material
  • Price: $99/year as displayed
  • Structure: Intro Clinics, THE LB FIX, drill/clinic/tape collection and coach discussion
  • Claimed library: 300-plus videos and teaching pieces; private count not verified
  • Snapshot: 153 members and one displayed review

How is the library structured?

The About page gives the materials three jobs. Intro Clinics establish a foundation; THE LB FIX is presented as problem solving; the larger drill and tape collection is for deeper practice. That progression is useful because a coach with an immediate coverage or tackling question does not necessarily need a full new course. A searchable, position-specific example can be more practical during a season.

The public description does not expose the actual topics, teaching sequence, video dates or how often Jon updates the material. It also does not say whether members can upload their own film for individual review or how quickly a question receives an answer. Those are sensible questions to ask before paying. A single 5.0 review is a positive displayed response, not a reliable measure of outcomes across 153 members.

Who might get value from the annual fee?

A coach already responsible for linebackers could use the room as a reference and peer sounding board. A new coach may value the foundation, but should check whether the material fits the age group, rule set and system they actually coach. The site claims the library can save time and help coaches teach confidently; those are proposed benefits, not measured improvements in player safety or performance. Especially with young athletes, drills should be adapted to supervision, equipment and local rules.

Annual pricing changes the decision: it is a commitment to a season-long reference source, not a one-off tutorial. At $99/year, the simple monthly equivalent is $8.25 if used for all twelve months, but that arithmetic does not define refund or cancellation terms. Our membership-tiers guide explains how to evaluate the commitment. Builders can study the position-specific structure alongside niche selection, classroom organization, member engagement and About-page clarity.

Best fit: a linebacker coach who will revisit position-specific drills and clinics throughout a season. Ask about curriculum fit, video freshness and feedback before buying for individual film review.
